Zen Suggests: Leona changes.

Its that time of the meta now.

Grievous Wounds is nerfed for only Self-healing, So heal-supports like Sona, Soraka, Taric and Kayle are back on duty, Faithfully serving their Marksmen with out a thought in the world while Tank supports like Thresh, Leona and Braum are slow go out of style, even though Leona is already going out of style to more.. Support-like champs.

So, with that, I'm launching this suggestion.

With that, though, Her passive is ultimately getting changed, For better or worse.

Her new passive would read "As Leona takes damage (Other words, every instance she takes damage), She'd gain 1/1.5/2/2.5% of her Armor/Magic Resist, up to a total of 10 stacks (25%)"

This would, Effectively, take part of her W out, but also improving on her over-all beefiness, allowing her to go top-lane in comps she normally wouldnt fit into.

Now, her other change is her W, now reading

"Upon cast, Leona expends all her passive stacks, Dealing X Damage (+X% AP) + 10% Per Stack."

Now, this is also another part of what will make her stronger. With her old W being, basically, A Skill that is only utilized as a tank, Into a full ability that would give her Wave clear in her new Top-lane Possibility. Now, being said, i'm willing to answer a few questions, Some i've thought of before time.

> Will this Affect her build path?

Not at all, Except MAYBE buying an IBG over Sightstone, as her Q is an AA Enhancer and Reset. She will not be tanky with a full damage build due to the % Based Resistances, and she will not gain damage with a full tank build due to most of her abilities still (Hopefully) keeping the same Scalings.

> Will this affect her Support role?

While i designed this change to help her shift AWAY from support, I would think it would not affect it, Considering she still has those Glorious Stuns and Root.

>How would her Passive scale?

I decided on the levels 6-11-16, The same levels she'd get a point for her Ult, Though, it could easily change to be more.. Accessable early on, should she need the buff.

> Would she be Stronger or Weaker for this?

I feel this will only make her Stronger in the solo lane. While i do feel she will be a weaker support, She will DEFINITELY be stronger Top and Jungle due to the always active Resistance scalings.

>What inspired this change

While mostly i designed it because Leona has a more.. Support-based Player-board, i've noticed a big change in not only her Player-base, but also her Play style, Shifting from a tanky support to a more.. AD top-lane fighter, Shifting roles nearly completely.

Another thing that inspired this was the fact that Leona has a rather.. Tankish kit for a Support, Her only full-support ability being her Passive, while most of her kit seems more well tuned for a Jungle champ, being able to Engage easily, While also keeping an enemy in place for ganks.
