Why League's interest is decaying.

When lol was created, we used to live in Runeterra. We used to actually understand the reason WHY these champions fight. We considered this as a fight and not a video game.

I dont know if this is right or not, but i think what im about to tell you is the reason why people are having less indulgence in league. Mind it i'm not talking about 'fun' i'm talking about 'indulgence'.

We dont live in runeterra anymore. Well thats too much to say, but the time riot has been spending towards league to make the game balanced is affecting the core of the game. For instance, there is no justification in runeterra why bot tower has no shield prior 5 min whereas others do. There is no justification why braum had opted for joining the league. It was funny upto the point where mordekaiser said "you only need to click once, fool" but i feel the indulgence has been reduced gradually over time.

Riot should have realised the moment Miss fortune was picked as support in LCS, that there are more than enough champions now. What do you want rito, all the people in runeterra should be in league? I think that the champion concepts which are not appealing to anyone anymore are not required at all. The way sion was reworked was EPIC. Now he has everything a champion should have - a reason to fight(which is fighting itself #ZARAKIKENPACHI ), a true storyline and a balanced kit.

Comparing to the number of random concepts that a person could have in his mind, 134 is a very very small number. It doesnt mean you embody each and every idea into a champion(atleast a new one every time).

I can use more and more words to say the same thing again rito kun, but if by now you didn't understand what im trying to say, i'll be wasting more of our time.

Yeah this lol. Doubt that's why leagues interest is "falling." I'd say not even half the players even know the lore behind their favorite characters

league isn't decaying, it just gets bigger every year. People say it's decaying every year, people want this game to do poorly. Why IDK.

Say you don't like the game or whatever, but don't say it's decaying. It's just not true.

mostly because they want changes to happen and they are worried riot won't do them if they aren't worried about the game dying

I heard this shit many times since 2014, but instead, League increased to 100 million active players .

It's really just a minority going onto the forums and say how bad league has become. They may know many people who stopped playing and immediately think the game is dying, but little do they know, league gains more new players than old players leave.

Well - the Lore was always a little weird. The Pure-Summoners thing was interesting but caused some problems since the Champions had always to join the League for some reason...

Either let Summoners just Summon the illusions of the high beings from Runeterra or remove the Summoners and turn the League into a Guild-like organisation to secure peace in Runesterra. (Maybe you still use the 'Summoning' to explain why truly evil Champions can show up on the rift.)

But as Riot explained, they no longer wanted to think about why each Champion fights in such a rule heavy organsation. Explaining Noxus, Demacia and w/e would be simple. But random Monsters, Shadow Isles, Shurima - those would either need major plot problems to fight for their rights in an institute of war or just be illusions Summoned by Summoners for (Runeterra)Public-Fun-Events. (But I guess this could feel less satifying when playing them.)

Working out this Idea - just allow both. Summoners and their Illusions to satisfy the public wishes and REAL battles on the Rift between the Noxian High Command and Demacian Royailty for political purpose without sacrifing thousands of soldiers lives. Additionally we could have Tournaments for Glory and Money to explain the apperance of people like MF, Ekko, and w/e...

Strong beeings like Azir, Xerath or the shadow crew could still exist in Runeterra and still be summoned on the rift. (dont mentioning Aurelion here - guess he would show up on the Rift just4the lulz to show off. xD)

From my point of view a perfect Solution. ^^ Opinions?

Yes league interest is decaying because I started playing for the lore. I don't really care about the lore that much, never did. I only cared about the lore for characters I play. And even then it's only there personality I really care about.
