the leblanc rework was a failure

you rework her and she becomes a perma ban then you nerf her to the ground and take away any viability people who used to like playing her generally don't really like it anymore even when it was strong mainly because its just not as much fun to play

people didnt like to play against her before (which fine, is a valid point), but people still do not like to play against her, perhaps even more now than previously.

i cant understand why riot won't admit this was a complete failure of a rework and revert it.

If they reverted her she would then again be permabanned lol.

She simply at her old state would again be the strongest mid lane.

why's that? i don't recall her being as relevant as she has ever been in the recent patches after her rework. (mainly because she had always had waveclear problems), but her kit was less broken before. Even if we go way back to the days when dfg existed, she had silence on mark trigger, and full speed on W, she was still never really a tier 1 midlaner

its just that i notice a disturbing trend as the seasons go on that champions who once weren't broken at all get reworked or get parts of their kits deleted when they emerge as strong again, like janna for instance who lost at least 75% of her relase kit, if not more

Lol what, If we gave her a silence back then she would be way stronger then she is now.

Her wave clear wasn't great but it wasn't awful and she made up with it by the fact she could just QRW 100-0 you at lvl 6 in under a second. She was the lane bully mid.

People did nothing but complain about LB since season 4. She's a lot more healthy now then she used to be.

that's my point. she HAD a silence, she HAD her old combo, and she HAD her full movement speed on W yet her pick and ban was never higher than it was since her rework (nor was her LCS relevance). so exactly how did the rework make her "healthy" ?

Cause she actually needs to wait 1.5 seconds before she pops you and your wrong lol.

When she had her Silence she was indeed 100% pick/ban. She's been nerfed repeatedly, I'd prefer they'd un rework her but that's cause I think she was better before, I hated her new kit even when she was the best mid laner.

Even so though prior to the Assassin rework she was the best assassin in the game for awhile now. LB would look at people and they would die, at least now you have a second to scream.

You are incorrect - since although she has to wait 1.5s now, she also has many, MANY options that she didn't have before. She no longer has to lead her combo with Q and can simply dash near instantly into you to start her combo, and point click her Q while she's blinking back and you still can't hit her while she does it.

She also has insane waveclear compared to what she used to have, and she no longer has to use ult to do it.

So even though she can't jump past the wave and kill you before 1 second, she doesn't rely on gimmicks anymore, or rely on the enemy lagging or looking away for a second while she does her combo - she can 100-0 people far easier than she used to.

She could start her combo with W before.

W>QRE was more then enough to kill someone post 6, and it took less then a second.

Maybe they just wanted to bring Ahri and Syndra back into lane dominance... :)

Shes weak rn and probably needs some minor buffs to get her back in a good position, but i think nerfing her did some good, even if they overdid it.

I have to confess I've never understood the logic behind giant nerf changes instead of gradual incremental changes to slowly bring a champion into balance. By the current looks of things, comparing the recent Leblanc nerf with what happened to Taliyah's nerf shortly after she came out, I think it's going to be a good 7 to 8 months before some of the damage to the champion is undone.

Now if only I could figure out why Riot recommended Leblanc to me as a champion to play in their 2016 review...

It is disillusioning to see the replies here. They reflect the average attitude and level of intelligence of the community.

Before the recent rework her play rate was around 8% with a 47% win rate (champion.gg and op.gg) So what are you guys on about? She was never oppressive and in plat+ elo you needed to be very good to get an advantage in lane. Above that..high diamond and upwards she was not even played because people could counter her very easily.

The rework moved her damage into her passive which means that instead of having to balance several parts of her kit now her whole kit revolves around ONE THING, the passive. Having only one thing to balance opposed to several made Leblanc even more unbalanceable hence she was pushed into the gutters and left to rot.

What is so hard to understand about this, The guy responsible (Ricklessabandon) has shown complete incompetence when working on champions. He destroyed Viktor / Azir / Nidalee / Akali / Leblanc...all these great champion are now useless in League.

But of course you guys want to have it easy..you don't want to learn to play against Leblanc or any assassin. You don't want to learn what "mispositiniong" means or what non-mechanical counterplay stands for? You don't want to itemize against Leblanc but you are fine with Annie instabursting a whole team with point n click abilities.

You guys deserve a dumb game and apparently Riot is going to give it to ya.
