Stack Limits for Veigar & Nasus

Pretty lame when you can't end a game because it takes you five people to take down a nasus with 890 stacks; and two die in the process or no one but all summons were used.

Pretty unfair. No champ in the game should be able to fight more than 1v2 its bs to fight 1v5 because Nasus and Veigar has infinite stacks.

No, lmao. Your fault for letting them get that far into it and not ending.

Bad idea.

Nasus can't do anything in the early game versus most matchups requiring his jungler's babysitting and thus ignoring the rest of the map, and even in the late game, anything kites him out and fighting him as a team is extremely easy. He's always been a "If team is winning, I'll make them win harder later on" kind of champion.

As for Veigar he is literally made of tissue paper, If you stun him for half a second he instantly dies, you flank him and he has nothing to do against you. They have plenty of counterplay.

if you limit these guys you also need to put a limit on Overgrowth, Gathering Storm, Dark harvest, Ghrasp..... yea i dont think they are gonna do that

Uh... no? Because there's a difference between everyone being able to use something and two champions having a completely broken mechanic.

You'd have an argument if literally everyone had an infinite stacking mechanic in-kit, but that's not the case.

Nasus needs to stack slower.

His mid game is way too strong, though truth be told he isn't a good teamfighter late game, even when stacked.

The doggo doesn't need to be a good teamfighter. He needs to be able to soak up damage and oneshot people, which he does magnificently well.

His stacking power is absurd.

True, he is pretty hard to deny after he gets lv6 and a Sheen.

I've been Veigar before with well over 1.5k ap and still get shit on because I'm made of glass, I can take out one target before I get blown up, more if the enemy tries to chase and I can kite them.

A farmed Nasus can walk through your entire team, 2 shot your adc and still proceed to open up a can of total whoop ass on your squishies. Not to mention his sustain in lane makes it harder to push him out if he grabs some kind of mana regeneration or mp item.

They have a similar mechanic but are literally apples to oranges.

I don't even think Nasus is all that great of a champion. His success or failure depends on 2 key things:

  1. His ability to stack
  2. Enemy team composition

If his enemy team composition is filled with a bunch of hard CC, 1,000,000 stacks will do him exactly no good. Seriously, any half decent Lux or Morgana will just CC him to death while their teammates just beat him down.

Nasus and Veigar are different in what you want out of your team comp. One is a 3000+ HP tank with a 1/2 hp shot to adc's that you need atleast 3 people (min) to fight. Veigar is a cc heavy one shotting wine glass cannon who gets insta-killed by the slightest amount of cc. Where one is good at team fights (veigar) and the other is good at skirmishes (nasus). Both have crap early game but strong as hell late if they are playing at a constant rate and get what they need. But my only problem with nasus is that he gets to late game super earlier than veigar who has to get to the 45 min mark at max to reach his where nasus just needs to get to mid and he can do the damage of a late game nasus super early when adc's are like 2/4 in their build and he feels like he has all items.

This is where his stacking is annoying, because even a nasus who is lane bullied can get super strong, not at the same pace but strong, in mid game. I feel like there should be a limit to how many stacks he can get but at a curtain point in the game, kind of like gathering storm. (this is coming from a non nasus player, but a veigar main)For example, he can only get say 150 stacks and stay with 150 until 10 min; and then can continue reaching his limit till 20 min. So that way he cant be super fed mid game and two shot adc's. Same can go for veigar, but his stacking takes a lot longer and can be slower than nasus' stack farming and i personally think its fine but i can understand why people dont like it. The only time veigar can really get alot at one time, is if he hit a champ with all 4 abilites and kill them because thats about 9-10 straight ap that he gets. Where as nasus' is a bit safer, besides his laning phase, and simpler because he just has to kill minions/monsters with Q to get them and its pretty much just last hitting with added damage to secure the last hit. Just an idea, but i dont know what his normal stack numbers are so just work around my concepts <3 Veigar

Yes, but add into your post the stipulation that they'd have to be able to get stacks faster to make up for it.

if the stacks aren't broken idk what is.

i had a veigar with 1k ap, while every other caster had 300 ap... how is this fair?

it's so frustrating when top can't prevent nasus from stacking Q as well but i don't mind his stacks as long as his slow isn't so ridiculous
