Tahm Kench and Mikael's Crucible - Fast Food

I made a video on the topic, here's a link.

I think this has some stupid dumb potential. With just those two items, you have 225% Mana Regen converted onto the 150% Health Regen for a 375% Health Regen. Needless to say your sustain should be solid. You'd have armor and magic resistance to boot.

Is the combo too hard to pull off? I think not. Will it have value? Absolutely. Not to mention you still have a Mikael's Crucible to protect your ADC. Oh the options!

Keep in mind that taking those two items can still lead to a build with high survivability and utility. One example would be:

item 3069 Talisman of Ascension item 3109 Knight's Vow item 3222 Mikael's Crucible item 3065 Spirit Visage item 3083 Warmog's Armor item 3009 Boots of Swiftness (boots are flexible)

This would provide a substantial amount of armor, magic resistance, health, and health regeneration. You would also have quite a bit of utility and max cooldown reduction.

Please discuss, I would love some input!

Tahm Kench is one of the most OP char now in my opinion... the new masteries are OP on him and he can be pick to counter any assassin even the powerful ones. Spend one game trolling a Rengar cause he wasn't able to kill my mate Tristana cause i had Tahm... it was stupid especially with the amount of damage i could deal and tank.

That might just be the huge assassin update since it just hit. Everyone's playing anywhere between 1-3 assassins per game so protective tanks are really hot right now.

I wouldn't say he's OP since he still requires to be able to stack his passive 3 times and get in an enemies face for the Devour. Usually to stop a Tahm Kench now you have to CC him as he eats his squishy ally, or build lots of % health damage items (item 3153 item 3151 item 1416 ) to force him out constantly.

As for the masteries, I agree they can be quite strong on him. They're strong on most tanks, but he usually gets his hard CC a few seconds into a fight. By that time he's taken a good bit of damage into his gray health. After you've accumulated enough gray health, that new health shield from the mastery procs, and you're just a big bully. Definitely strong.

What new mastery? Tahm doesn't have any great way of procing Courage of the Colossus... and I can't think of any other new mastery that could possibly be OP on Tahm....

Any great way? a stun with his Q spell and his W that is a hard cc too (well if it's not a hard cc than Rito should have a loot on what an hard CC is then.

Most people will say that you have to put 3 stack on a champ so it's not "great" on him, but in fact if you play Tahm and never put 3 marks on your ennemi and play with that, then sorry but those people are bad tahm players. It's the main kit of the hero after all.

as a support you often won't get 3 stacks on a target as you need to stick near your ADC to eat them and protect them and you often have to use Q to get stacks and for the slow to actually get to the enemy but that also means that Q is on cooldown so you can't use it to stun the enemy

yes it will probably work on top lane tahm though in 1v1 you often want to wait for your Q cooldown while they are inside you but then you waste the shield... oh well I guess
