I watched Peanut play nidalee because I heard he was good at her and I want to know why sometimes he goes machete and others talisman. Is it just trying out two different items or does he pick one or the other from the team comp? Also, what's the usual nidalee ganking combo, I go something like: human, Q, cougar, w, q, e, human, q or basic attacks I guess. When should I add in AAs, use bushwhack or what happens if I miss my Q?
I assume you're playing nidalee jg. You always start blue and then you can go in any order you want. Ganking with nidalee is easier if you have red buff, that way you can aa your targets down and get a slow to land your Q. Bushwack should be placed in common areas, usually behind you when you gank so you can tell if there is anyone coming. I usually buy the frost upgrade to smite and then the magnus upgrade as well. Then i would get boots and sheen and build that into a lich bane. When you get those, ganking and jgling should be a ton easier. When you gank bot, try to go around common ward places by using pounce to jump walls and sneak behind them.
BE AGGRESSIVE - with nidalee its ok to be a little aggressive, you do more damage than you think. An excellent keystone for nid is stormraider's surge, that way when you land a Q, 9/10 times it will proc, giving you a ton of movement speed to catch up the them.
Items -that frost and magnus jg item thingie -boots -lichbane
Max your Q first, E second, W last, and of course R whenever you can.
Anticipate your Q's, keep an eye on ur jg through ur W and control wards. Its ok to go into their jg if you're careful. You got that pounce after all.
Standard combo is - Q, R: WEQ, R: Q(if you have it), W, E
