First ranked matches

So I just played a game in soloQ where we instantly surrendered all at 15 mins. Actually we were with a player doing his first ever ranked match; and he didn't ask anything or do anything wrong but he caused us to all lose LP injustly and lose 15 mins of our time, even more to climb back up. Considering the average elo is silver 4 or 5, why would new players first match be in s1-g5 and ruin a whole game for 9 players, and for himself since he has no fun getting destroyed. So I suggest new players have more than 10 placement games and that the first few are in bronze and if he wins them then he gets higher. I really think it would make the game better : ) I hope changes are made
