When a mid, support, adc, or non-tank jungler gets fed they're still counterable or at least killable by 1-2 players.

When a tank gets fed it becomes a 1v5 World of Warcraft raid.

If this picture doesn't prove it idk what does. Countless games to prove tanks are busted.

Inb4 "Volibear is a juggernaut, not a tank" and "Vi is a diver, not a tank."

The No True Scotsman fallacy should be renamed No True Tank in honor of the League boards.

So long as one of your five is an ADC with at least +15 Lethality, that tank will melt. As a tank main I'm well aware of this failure of game balance.

Tanks counter lethality, not the other way around . . . Flat armor pen is best against squishies not against tanks. For tanks you want black cleaver or lord dominik's.

Not a very good one it seems given your poor understanding of armor

Know what a bevor is? How about faulds? Ever heard of a poleyn? For that matter, ever hear of a <this was censored for some reason, so next best thing> citadel or a warship? Do you know what the concept of angling is? I'm not talking about fishing, here.

I know plenty about armor. I even know it's actually written "armour", but since I'm playing on NA I'll at least concede that.

You seem triggered.

I would take you more seriously if you weren't adamant that flat pen counters tanks. Just to give you some perspective. The difference between a 300 armor tank and 285 armor tank is probably 2% damage reduction tops.

None of you seem to understand the actual value of this, though I wouldn't expect you to unless you've studied the ramifications of the sequential magnitude effect. I suppose I'll attempt to enlighten. A mere 15 points seems a trifle until you consider quantitative derivatives. After that base 15 armor is stripped, you have to consider the sequential magnitude, for instance the relative prevalence factor of incoming damage as amplified by the aggregate coefficients of all related items and runes. In this case, the amalgam of dynamic values quantifies to a median 77.433% incoming DPS increase across all AD champions with standard endgame builds.

Obviously, sequential magnitude spikes at higher levels of Lethalithy application, and this says nothing of effects like Vi's passive. This can easily go as high as ~230%, you just have to do the math. This is what I dislike about League's flat pen system in general; most of its raw effects are hidden behind arcane mathematics that even Riot themselves might not recognize.

Indubitably. Now do the math for when you strip off 100 armor because of Lord Dominik's Regards or Mortal Reminder.

If I factor this into the median, removing the raw AD from the weakest mean coefficient in the original formula, this amounts to 129.633%. I did this for Mortal Reminder, by the way, because the Grievous Wounds are another factoring abstract in this case. How fortunate for all us tank mains that people rarely buy Mortal Reminder. People grossly underestimate the derivative value of Grievous Wounds, particularly in the current climate of the game.

idk man, I can easily 1v3 as Veigar at 26 min if I land my abilities right.

Goodluck trying to 1v3 when the enemy saves and stacks their Flash for you alone because the rest of your team is that behind and irrelevant despite you constantly roaming.

Never said I'd single-handedly win the match, all I'm saying is (From my actual had experience btw) I've 1v3'd multiple times as Veigar with mad stacks within that time. Not to mention the cooldown on my w reduces as the game goes on.

Oh, and on that flash note: I usually wait till they burn their more important abilities before using stun ring, zhonias, stun ring, and the q,w spam. (Not to mention my own flash)
