Fizz Top AD, what happened?

I just wonder why we don't see Fizz Top AD at all anymore on all scenes, pro or SoloQ. Jungle side, i know all Devourer champ had really stepdown.

I believe they re-worked his W and took the healing debuff away but bumped the AP damage. That was mostly what made him popular top lane since it allowed him to counter some of the tankier lane bullies that had healing in their kit.

He no longer does 8% missing HP magic damage on hit while his W is active, and once again applies a non-stacking Damage over Time on hit that does 8% missing HP magic damage over a few seconds on the W passive. Meaning it no longer scales with attack speed like it did.
