Why do overpowered champs like lux or aatrox get "changed" instead of nerfed?
Why do these op champs get changes that still make them too good while trash like galio gets blasted with even more nerfs and left in the dumpster?

Because no champion should be gutted, even cancer ones. Galio is a case where Riot doesnt know what they want to do with him, a tank? An anti mage diver? An AP bruiser? Every part of his kit does a little bit of something else, they need to decide what THEY want him to be and just balance him around that rather than doing ping pong between engager to mage to support etc..
