Leblanc's passive upgrade

Hello. I play Leblanc. I'm often met with "Why don't you play Zed/Talon/Ahri/Evelynn/Katarina/Qiyana/Zoe/Shaco" etc... So, I guess a lot of people don't consider her viable, but a lot of people do (myself included).
Though I can't help but feel something is missing while playing her.

There are so many overloaded kits these days. So many champions with shields (too many if you ask me). Though I understand it's nice to have a skill that allows you to survive a close encounter with death, or soak up damage from an aggressor. Leblanc's passive can do this, but rarely. Maybe once or twice per game if you're lucky. Though it depends on your opponent. If you're left fighting a Draven that deals 58% of your health with one basic attack, your passive might as well not exist. A Talon or Zed will basically render your passive useless, as well as many others. Anyone with cc + aoe (like Veigar) will nullify Leblanc's passive entirely, since they don't care which Leblanc is real, they'll hit an kill both.

Her passive seems to be more useful early game than anything, and sometimes the plays made with the clone are brilliant. Other times, your passive is an afterthought and does nothing for you at all, but gives the opponent that kills you an extra 25 gold (thanks clone). Not to mention the current bugs

  1. Enemies that kill Leblanc's clone gain the same exp as they'd get had they killed you.
  2. Leblanc's passive activating while an opponent is chained will allow the enemy to still see Leblanc, who will be transparent instead of invisible.

Currently, Leblanc's clone is more of a detriment to Leblanc herself in far too many circumstances. But, that aside, it'd be nice if the player had a little more control over it.

There was a rework a while back that basically gave Leblanc the ability to summon her clone at will. Some kind of dual ultimate ability. The idea of it was nice, but the application was clunky. (she basically had 5 skills, but two were on R) I thought it'd be nice if one thing from her rework were to remain on her kit. The ability to trigger her clone at will. It'd make it more of an active/passive.

So my idea was perhaps falling below 40% could trigger the clone as usual, but perhaps it could be triggered by an alt+right click as though you were moving the clone. Kind of like moving the clone outside of yourself. I think this would help her catch up to all the recent reworked/new champs. You'd also be able to weigh your options a little better. Do you want to trigger your clone now while you're full health? Or after you're already dead? Hmm, tough decisions.

I had one more idea for her passive. When you chain an enemy but take damage, your passive activates, but it's obvious which Leblanc is real (thanks chains). So I though maybe the clone could appear to have the enemy chained as well. It'd be nothing more than a visual effect, granting no vision, damage, or snare, but at least you don't look stupid zig-zagging an obvious decoy in hopes that Jax won't jump on you (he will).

I'd love to hear some opinions on this. If you agree/disagree, please let me know why. If you have your own ideas for things that might help Leblanc, I'd love to hear it. I know there are other champions that need love too, but I'd like to keep this thread's focus on Leblanc. Thanks.

Leblanc's clone shouldn't give a reward for killing it either. Does Neeko's clone give a reward for killing it? Cause I think they are on the same level to some degree. Neeko's clone is pretty much spammable, if it gave gold for killing it, you'd just be feeding the enemy.
But the fact leblanc's clone gives gold (and exp due to bug) pretty much means you're punished for your own passive. 25 gold doesn't seem like much, but it's more than you get from most cs. Please fix the clone giving exp bug.

I thought passives were to help the champion, not the enemy. I'd understand it giving gold / exp if it dealt damage, or was an active ability, but a passive that the player has no control over that rewards the enemy is stupid. I mean yeah, you have control over the clone itself to some degree (sometimes you don't because of a bug), but I mean you don't control when it's activated, the enemy does.

(Yes, there is a bug where occasionally you're unable to control Leblanc's clone with alt+right click.)

You can't really avoid cc with it since it has no escapes, so it's basically "Here, have some free gold and exp".
