Fun fact: Hecarim can have over 429 AD without building AD.

Just for fun, I went into a custom game to see how much AD I could get on Hecarim without actually building any AD items. I built no duplicate items, had a blank rune page, and no masteries.

I built: item 3512 (+20% move speed) item 3117 (+115 move speed out of combat) item 3800 (+75% move speed) item 3285 (+10% move speed) item 3742 (+60 move speed) item 3100 (+7% move speed) took summoner 6 (+45% move speed) Used Hecarim E (+75% move speed)

This resulted in 1399 movespeed, which with his passive, gave me 429 AD without building a single AD item. With homeguard (+150% movespeed) it would have been 471 AD. With duplicate items, scuttle buff, any of the various champion buffs that give move speed (zilean, karma, galio, etc), cloud drake, or whatever other ways you can buff move speed, it would have been even higher.

No, this isn't a viable build by any stretch, and obviously no one should do it. It's just a bit silly that a champion can get that much AD without building any.

"No, this isn't a viable build by any stretch, and obviously no one should do it." That justifies Hecarim getting that much AD from it.

Rammus Okay.

He gets AD with armour stacking.

You're forgetting item 3069 in place of lich bane.

Why is this not viable?

Bouncemaster Zac1/29/2017, 8:24:35 PM2 votes

I think your test build actually might be viable what with Hec having 2 ap scalings and E applying lich bane.

Hecarim's MS scaling needs to go. No champ should be able to build full tank and still delete everything in vicinity.

Imagine a meta where Kled and Hecarim were in-meta at the same time.

triforce would be better than lich bane

wouldnt surprise me. This game is broken balance wise.

Oh boy, anyone remembers Hecarim original passive scaling? Hell, it was almost twice what it is now...

Matake1/29/2017, 11:30:17 PM1 votes

That 1399 MS though...

I feel like Talisman should have been in there somewhere. +40% would definately be better than the 20% of ZZ'Rot.

944 movespeed. Meaning that it looks like you built a teamcomp around speedboosting him around.

I mean, its like getting a 400 AD Rammus. Possible, but it aint gonna happen.

You realize he isn't the only one who does that right? Though Jhin ends up maxing once you hit critical attack speed caps.

sobi9991/29/2017, 9:55:22 AM1 votes

It may be viable if it were partially followed i.e. only go half of full MS build. He is a broken sht right now and i don't think anyone would disagree.

Even though a hecarim with this build would be shit on by an afk soraka that built nothing but ancient coin, I suppose it isn't untrue that he can have this much AD without building AD.
