Dealing with aggro mage supports

I'm an ADC main and I always have a hard time dealing with supports like Brand & Zyra (seriously screw this wench). How do you play these lanes? Let's just pair them with an aggro AD like Miss Fortune. How do you deal with this?

normally, because that lane is so immobile, you ask for jungle pressure. but if you are silver or lower, you just die under tower multiple times and get flamed for not hugging your tower.

Im an sggro support main myself, but i dont play mages cuz i think their boring. Usually, having an aggro supp (enchanter, ur own mage, a tank with engage) is usually fine if they no how to dodge and make them think twice about the trades they try to take.

The main thing is that u should at least try to trade with them, If u keep letting them take pot shots ur just gonna either die or be behind in cs/ exp. Learn their ability cast time and hit boxes and dodge. Remember, people can do nothing when their auttoing a minion. Use that .5-1 second to auto them in between ur csing, to even the playing field a bit.

Over all, if u must play passive, didge the skils, if u cant play passive, make even trades/ suggest for ur supp to be aggro as well. Good luck :3

So Brand has high base damage, this means that you outscale him. You need to let the enemy laners push to you and just cs as best you can and wait for your jungler to come and gank that juicy 300g Brand

In lane Brand just wants to throw his W's at you when you go to cs. So you just lose a few cs, this way he cannot get his frostfang gold. If brand gets no kills and not enough ff gold, at a certain point in the game he becomes useless

Zyra isn't really a poke champion. She needs to hit her E to land any kind of combo, so in lane all she does is fish for E's. If she lands one she just WWQ on you and you take lots of damage, get ignited and you probably die. So with this knowledge you need to anticipate zyras roots and try to dodge them. If she doesn't land the root, after a certain point, you just jump on her and 3 shot her because she has nothing else but her ult to stop you. Her plants can be a pain but if you coordinate with your support to hit them, they die after 1 tick of damage

Bush wards are really important vs both, but especially zyra. Also frostfang gives them 20 on-hit damage so their autos hurt and give them 20 gold. Just be sure to really punish their cooldowns, as they are no threat when Zyra's E or Brand's W is on cooldown.

Often you might take a Brand W and back off as an ashe, but a pro player might decide to trade back damage immediately, flash over his Q and kill him

But ye, just remember to punish cooldowns at least

Annoying to face them but I can tell you what I dislike about playing aggro supports over utility. You have to do damages consistently to make the pick worth it. If you happen to lose lane and force to play safer, you would rather be playing utility champions like Nami for better sustains. It's like you lost the purpose on why you pick them if you're forced to play safer which is what I dislike about aggro focus supports. They're double edge sword in a way. Not a fan of that.

Pretty much wait for ganks or hope your support can engage
