New HUD is a giant piece of SH**
To start off with, the only logic I can figure out for why they changed the HUD the way they did was for more visibility, which they stated on the HUD update page ("We’re creating a more streamlined UI that doesn't obscure the play space and reorganizes the information based on how players actually use it."). That's great, but every living soul who plays this game has to deal with the HUD 100% of the time they're in-game, and this isn't just changing colors and crap. So you gotta be a LIIIIITTLE freaking careful when you're affecting literally every player you have.
The item move was just ridiculous, never have I thought to myself, "Damn, if my items hadn't been in the way I could've reacted .02 seconds faster and survived in that situation." If it's not taking up space on one side of the screen then it's taking up space on the other fckin side, just leave it where everyone is used to it being, fck. My items are FAIRLY important, leave them the hell alone please.
And hiding your stats, who's frikking idea was this??? Who plays the game and is like, "fck my stats, i dont give a sht about those." I've never played a game with them hidden and I dont intend to, they take up a tiny bit of space and they're IMPORTANT. Oh and thanks a lot for changing the icons for the stats. What, did the other icons not communicate what each stat was properly? Don't bullshit me, this was the most useless thing they did in the whole patch. I play on the Chinese server and it took me like 5 minutes to figure out what the hell all the numbers were. Like I said earlier, leave sh*t alone that's not broken and has NO FRIGGING use for being changed.
Major issue here: When you go to scroll your mouse over the connection icon to check your ping in the top right corner, you have to be a friggin brain surgeon to do it without making the screen shoot over to the upper right. Did anyone test this even f*cking once?!
And as a side note, in the store there's a space within the border of the item where your mouse can be, but it does not highlight the item and therefore you cannot right click to buy it, you have to move your mouse a little bit until it highlights. There are several areas in the item borders where this happens and its damn annoying.
Oh and thanks for moving the scores back to the top right in this last HUD tweak, WHERE EVERY F*CKING PERSON HAS BEEN CHECKING THEIR SCORES FOR LIKE 5 YEARS.
And last but not least, why the hell is everything so damn tiny???? Did you hire a bunch of fcking smurfs to make this HUD?? I sit directly in front of my laptop like everyone else and I've practically had to stop and squint to see sht. Function first people, if I cant read your sht then it's not useful, at some point you gotta realize I'd rather see .1% less of the screen than not be able to read information. The fckin ally pictures are so damn small, people who are gonna ult in with Shen that way must be pissed. All the numbers are tiny, the fckin scoreboard you bring up with tab is a fckin mess, it doesnt even have people names' on it anymore and you need a magnifying glass to get BASIC information on it. We used to be able to hit tab and take a QUICK LOOK and get everything we needed, then put it away. THAT is efficiency, not having it f*ckin tiny so that I have to keep it up longer to actually use it.
And then I laughed my ass off when they made the changes for ranked, cuz half of them were changing it back to how it was before. Do ya think maybe that's cuz it was fckin fine before???? They had to make a whole bunch of stuff bigger because IT WAS FCKING TINY AS HELL. I've never seen one damn complaint about the HUD for you people to change it to such a degree (UNTIL NOW), so why fck with something that fcks everyone over. EVERYONE.
You guys succeeded, I do use the playing space more now, because I fcking DREAD having to do anything in the HUD. Whether it's reading items or skills, checking the scoreboard, looking at ally death/ult timers, or anything else I'm just like "get me the fck out of here" the minute I turn my eyes to it.
