Ranting About Teamwork And The Support Role

OK So I'm just kind of wanting to rant right now due to me feeling kind of underwhelmed with the "Support" class. It always sucks when Champions OUTSIDE of the support role are better for the role than actual support champions. While I love the support champions; so many of them are team reliant it almost makes you feel bad for them. A lot of them can't be played to their full potential in lower elo; Especially where it counts like in teamfights or controlling objectives. I know I could just play Braum, Bard, or Thresh but... They also need a team to follow up... and if you follow your team around they yell at you for not getting picks... I love playing Soraka, Nami, Sona, and Janna but appart from Sona and Nami you can't really carry a team with a normal support build. Like if you build: or Sure you have a lot of utility but what does it mean if you're unable to utilize it without someone yelling at you? In the time I've spent in Bronze and Silver I've started just building damage no matter what because it feels better than building utility when you don't have a duo partner as a support. [slayer-jinx-unamused] I know a lot of people are just going to tell me to get better at the role, and I will... I just wanted to rant a small bit about how useless I can feel if my team is running around like a bunch of apes. Now don't get me wrong I can admit when I fuck up [I've engaged a lot on Thresh as Soraka and Janna help me please] But my mistakes are starting to be barely noticeable by me and my friends; I re watch every game I loose to see WHERE I fucked up and a lot of the time I only see 2-3 mistakes and when I ask a friend about it they only spot 3-5 mistakes. I know I'll climb in time, I climbed out of Bronze after all; but I just wish people would hear me out and start working as teams instead of a bunch of KDA hungry monkeys. But the issue with that is, if everyone started working together... League wouldn't be toxic anymore and I wouldn't get to laugh at idiots who blame the jungler for them getting solo killed until they where 0-10-1 by their enemy laner.
