should I use smartcast?

It generally lets you cast abilities more quickly, and lets you win more split-second mechanical scenarios. I can't promise an exact difference, but it should be beneficial once you get used to it.

I generally turn off smart cast for most skill shot abilities. Everything else is set with smart cast to make things faster.
