I would like 3v3 tips/meta help.

I've always wanted to play Twisted Treeline a lot more than Summoner's Rift, but the only problem is that every time I go to play it I get matched with awful players or bot accounts because I don't ever play more than 2-3 games every 6 months.

So I want to start TT and I need help with the meta, if I remember it's a bruiser top, something ap bot and maybe a jungler or a 2nd bot laner. I'd like to know what the proper roles are and what champions go in each position. Another thing I'd want to know is are any of the Twisted Treeline specific items good and if so, what makes them good? Maybe tell me some information on rotations and when to get Vilemaw and how to go cap the enemy's circle thing.

That's basically all I need to know to start.

I love 3v3. A big thing to note is that quick communication is key, due to the small size of the map. Top may be going to the jungle, so u need to let them know that they r rotating so y'all can counter gank. I have noticed that many people with put 2 champs in a lane and skip having a jungler. While having a jungler seems useless with such a small map, I recommend having one. As long as someone on ur team can handle 2 people without overextending and getting frequent ganks from ur jungler, u should be fine. If ur having a tough game, stealing jungle is handy to starve the enemy as well as give u extra gold. I've noticed that miss fortune, renekton, Galio, mao, and j4 are very good. There r many but those r the first that come to mind. There's a new item, I wish I knew the name of it at the top of my head, that helps u so long as u get ur alter. It makes u look like ur on fire I think. When the alter is a red hexagon, u can get it. More than one person captures it faster. Just be careful of the enemy jungler if they r roaming into ur jungle. Also, stealing the enemy's alter helps u too. Oh! If the enemy hits u while u r in the process of capping it, it interrupts the cap. The "baron" is called vilemaw. U want all three people there, preferably, to kill it faster, preferably after u kill one or two of the enemy champs. U need armor too cuz vile hurts. I've gotten bots in 3v3 a lot :( it's the worst. I never have them in 5s tho. One time I was playing with my bf and besides me and him, our third and the entire enemy team were bots. It was as nuts. Wow I typed a lot. I hope that helps in some way. GL HF!!!

The Altar item he mentioned is Lord Van Damm's Pillager. It's okay, but not core on any champ.

The 3v3 Bible might be what you're looking for. There's info on TT's two metas, strategies, and so on. The Shadow Isles, METAsrc, and MetaLoL offer tier lists (and some champ data for the latter two) if you're interested in that as well.

Brief answers to your questions: -Treeline has two metas: support and jungle. Support meta runs a bruiser or marksman as a hypercarry with a (often tanky) support. They rotate between top-lane and jungle, funneling gold and xp onto the hyper for mid-game dominance. Jungle meta runs a jungler instead of a support, focusing on early-game pressure. Both metas typically run an AP waveclear bot. -The TT-specfic items are mostly situational, with the exception of Wooglet's. Wooglet's is fairly standard on AP champs as the Zhonya+Deathcap replacement. -Rotations are important. -Treat Vilemaw like Baron, more or less. -Stand on Altars to cap them. Taking damage interrupts the cap.
