Notifications for our reports being useful towards a ban?

Every time I report someone, I don't feel satisfied or know if my reports do anything for toxic players.. I think it would be great to be notified that our reports are doing something whether it caused a ban or a suspension because then it would motivate more people to report.

I agree, often i feel like i'm reporting toxic players in vein. if there were some kind of notification system, or players got to participate in the tribunal, then at least i would feel like i could contribute toward making the community a better place.

I think a Report Usefulness Rating—[number of useful reports]/[total number of reports]—might be better.

Agreed. The system DOTA 2 has actually gives you a heads up whenever your report has had a hand in banning/punishing the offender. So I see no reason why League can't do the same. Whenever I report someone for ragequit/toxicity, I feel like I'm just pointing fingers and no one is looking

I'd like to see this too; call it a self-fulfilling sense of justice.

No joke, I report people for buying their account (have had people admit in game that they purchased the account from websites like www.Accountwarehouse.com) and it would be nice to know that they actually got banned... I hate seeing people troll and be toxic with no repercussions at all that I know of.

It would be great if something like that was implemented into the new Tribunal system. They already had stats based on your Tribunal performance, so stats about your reporting would make sense to include.

It should work the reverse way as well, I should know how many reports I've gotten towards my ban / chat restriction. It would actually make me feel like I need to be nicer because when I see the "Calm down, sir" Warning I just brush it off, if it had a "Calm down sir, 8/10 Towards 2Week Ban" warning I'd actually think of caring about this warning.

What I don't like do is that today i got reported for negative attitude by someone on my team for the hole game I didn't type and i helped were I could and someone needed to go on are team so i agreed to surrender so they wouldn't get banned and it told me I have been reported and although there is exceptions I feel most reports are stuff like this and if people get banned for these things it would not go very well.

I have twice gotten a message that notified me that a report I made was helpful in punishing a player. Have you guys never gotten those?
