Wow did they finally fix ranked by adding LP based on personal score!?!?

I just played a game, and they added personal score. Does this affect the RP you earn/lose? This may actually fix the broken league ranked system, bringing players who played well even on a losing team up, rather than trolls deciding who moves up/down.

The LP system wasn't broken.

No, it's just for decoration/funsies. It's also affected by Normal games.

The stuff for personal score only affects your champion mastery, not your LP. I.e. it is kinda just there for show and doesn't really do anything.

Ah, so it is really nothing useful, damn. If they made it so that your personal play affected your LP, like any other game ive EVER played, I think it would make people a lot happier, and reduce how toxic the league community is. People get toxic when they play well, but they have trolls or unskilled players on their team, and their LP is treated unfairly.

I'm pretty sure everyone dislikes getting people with lesser skill then themselves... However getting personal LP would be stupid for one reason. It's a team game and you play to win.... Put it this way if they made it personal right... who the hell would main support? They would't and nobody would play support. Why? Because you depend on your carry's in order to have a good scoreline yourself. So it would actually be really unbalanced. People would just play to be greedy and snowball rather then play objectively or as a team. Who cares about getting turrets, inhibs, dragons, and barons with my team when I can just kill the enemy adc who's behind 18 times and get lp for losing. It would basically approve of 0 teamwork.
