After playing as, and against new Poppy

I really feel like riot did an incredible job on the Poppy rework. The VU is good, the model is nice, the animations are unique and the kit feels very cohesive, and also synergizes with her intended build path. Great work!

A few key points that should be addressed early tho:

  1. Her Ult NEEDS lower damage when you spam it for the instant knockup and it also needs scaling damage with more ranks.
This to me is kind of a no brainer, and I'm surprised this version of the ult made it through pbe tbh. As it is right now, you can instantly proc it with no animation for the full damage plus a HEFTY knockup. This comes straight out of a knockback/stun so there is very little reaction time; basically flash or nothing. I should also be seeing bigger numbers when I rank it up, I mean cmon, thats basic league. It needs much lower damage on instant proc, and better damage with higher ranks.

  2. The buckler shield scales a little too much. Especially with items like item 3071 her durability goes up very fast. Overall thought Riot really nailed this passive, and it barely needs touching, have it scale up with levels.

That's all I felt was off about new Poppy, and I'm a really big fan of her current state.

HEFTY knockup

Person is untargetable during it. Gives you short time to think of your next move..

It needs much lower damage on instant proc

Im sorry have you seen my bear tibbers?

I don't see them adding damage; they deliberately wanted it to be more about the displacement, not damage. So far (in the entire 1 game I've played as her) it does feel like the insta-knockup tends to be far more useful than the charged ult, but my data sample is limited.

And I didn't lane (jungled Pop) so I couldn't say how strong her shield seems to be.

I like it though. I started off really rough but hit my stride mid-game and had a lot of fun.
