Krys Star11 votesRiot likes to buff champions that are fine. It's why balance is never stable, and there's always 'better' picks. Lee Sin, for example, who was in a decent spot, not always picked, then gets buffed into what he is now.
Then there's Zed, who was in a decent spot, maybe could've used some help. Riot already had an assassin item in the works, and they go ahead and buff him anyway instead of holding out on these buffs to see how the item helps him first.

Do you really think an item would fix the shit show riot caused when they did their little "bugfix" that caused Zed to feel like you were playing with 200 ping? Zed's problem wasn't something that is fixed by a little item. He had the 4th lowest winrate in the game, don't even try to call that a decent spot. Their little bugfix made him feel like a clunky mess, and that is why he received buffs. Krys Star9 votesThat's what bugs do. They didn't just fix the bug, but they also buffed him as well. Buffs that were not needed until the item was released so that they could properly assess him. After all, the only assassin that truly deserved a buff was Kha'zix. The rest were in a decent spot otherwise.
On the contrary, however, you're completely blinding yourself what I was really talking about: Riot hastily buffing champions, especially those not in dire need of buffs. You're tunneling on the fact you main Zed, and are being a little too passionate in defending him. You're truly the ignorant one here, unfortunately.

You don't add more damage (an item) to fix feeling very clunky to play. Zed was in a worse spot than Kha Zix, he had litterally the 4th lowest winrate in the game. Most pro players even said riot killed Zed at the time. He deserved buffs and really needed them. Especially the buffs that made his shadow faster and longer as they helped ease the clunky feeling.
I understand what you are talking about completely. While I don't agree with anything, I just found what you were saying about Zed to be so hilariously wrong that it needed adressing. I hope you can actually read this time. Its funny though the second someome like gragas falls to a winrate around Zed was he too gets buffs, it's like Ike they buff champs that need buffs or something, isn't that just wierd. Not to mention zed was a whole 2% lower aswell.

It doesn't take a genius to see how saying "he was in a decent spot", and "they should've waited to see how the item affected him" is such a stupid thing to say. Anyone who played one zed game before and during patch 5.22 can easily notice how bad it was.

Typically with other champions they give them a buff, wait a few patches to monitor them, and then proceed to give them more buffs if needed. Nope, they just gave him 4 buffs in one patch while also releasing an item that gives him a second ult.

I think zeds biggest problem is how well the new masteries worked with his kit. Although I think he is balanced and just strong right now, I would honestly rather riot just give him some nerfs. It's hard for Zed to be a strong champion without being complained about. Seeing your favorite champion strong for once really worries you :l.

I don't ever play Zed, I don't have him unlocked but it's so clear to see he is not OP, the real hypocrisy is how much this board ignores actual OP champs like MF, Graves and Amumu FFS and the reason why it ignores them is simply because they are easy to play so they can all benefit from their pathetic freelo, whereas you actually need to be good to play Zed.
