AP mage jungle item idea

So I was watching this patch overview video and as they discussed the problems with runeglaive for jungling, a thought occured to me. The devs are having trouble with a mage jungling item that gives every mage something they need.. What do my fellow players think of having an item for junglers that grants bonus damage to monsters based on AP (similar to the mastery that grants 5% ap basic attack damage). The item doesn't need to give much ap. But it should give some utility in the form of cdr or mana. Basically, it would solve the consistent damage that most mages lack at least early on. Most mages besides fiddlesticks would benefit greatly from that item in their clear and I never build the jungle item on fiddle anyways (zhonyas rush).

This is not an ap jungle item how many people use this over item 1403 item 1401 item 3930 item 1400 why did they reduce the ap no one uses this item any way unless they don't relies how bad it is.

Do you mean as another enchant? As an enchant, it needs more than that to justify it. By the time they would be able to get that, the champion will have no problem clearing the jungle anymore (if the champion has any reason to be there) and would not benefit enough from it to warrant its purchase.
