70 Nexus Token Poro Pet isn't given when bought... but the mission to earn the pet is then given

As someone who hates Nexus Blitz, but loves ARAM... I begrudgingly played the NB games to get 70 Nexus Tokens to get the Poro Pet... as it says it's also for ARAM. I buy the pet I earned today on my main... just to discover it doesn't give it to me. No, it instead gives me an ICON and unlocks a MISSION to play another game of Nexus Blitz. If I play this extra game of the mode I hate and had to play like 30 matches of... it will then give me what I already BOUGHT and EARNED.

I try to be reasonable about Riots game design choices, but; who thought it was a good idea NOT to give the player what they buy/earn and instead make them jump thru one last hoop to redeem it post purchase? Pathetic.
