Can Someone please explain in depth why some junglers are better than others?

I am a plat jungler and I honestly do not understand what makes junglers like Vi so much stronger and in demand more than Xin, Rek'Sai, J4, Wukong or Nocturne. I understand that Vi has a reliable cc in her ult q combo but xin and Nocturne naturally have MS to stick to a target and do more damage during a smaller cc in the same amount of time, Rek'Sai needs flash for CC and barely fills the tank or assassin role that she can build into. J4 and wukong have natural penetration and can survive teamfights much easier than Vi with arguably more game-changing ultimates. And dont tell me that Vi is preferred becuase of her early game ganks because this meta is filled with tank junglers who take loads of time to ramp up before becoming useful. Whats the deal?

I do'nt think Xin, Rek'Sai, J4, or Wukong are in a terrible spot. Nocturne... I honestly do'nt know.

Thing is, some people prefer a stronger early game over a stronger late game. It's all a matter of preference. Bruisers dominate the mid-game and deal damage while being somewhat tanky, not to mention that Vi's (along with Rek, J4, and hell I'll even throw in Xin and Wu) ganks are pretty strong. Same with Lee Sin.

I'm pretty sure J4 and Reksai are on the same tier as Vi while Reksai might be even stronger at the moment for his passive visions.

Noct, has a rather weak ganking ability pre-6. If people warded their lane properly, it would be hard for noct to even get near the lane, let alone do anything. Yes, his q gives some movement speed bonus, but not enough for the mobility meta(Lucian, Kalista, Graves, Corkit, etc). Also, Noct doesn't have enough base damage and crowd control in a team fight. Vi , J4, and Reksai all have AOE knock up, while Noct only has a fear, which needs to be channeled for 1-2 seconds before taking place, thus making him a lower tier jungler.

Xin is actually a rather strong champion, but the reason he isn't played that competitively would be because of his weak late game. He has insane damage early game, strong ganks and quite a bit of CC. However, if he itemizes towards damage, he would get melted in a second later on, and if he goes tanky, he would have no damage to put out. When later in game, 1 tiny slow with knock up could easily be ignored if there is no damage.

Vi's burst is absolutely silly whereas you have to chase and keep autoattacking with Xin and Nocturne. Plus the cc. And as a strong invader, she is able to pummel those tank junglers who are popular in the meta early on.

If you're legit getting flamed for those other picks tho, it's just because they aren't flavor of the month and you're in Platinum hell. Those are all pretty good picks. Maxing Q gives you some pretty good mobility too.

That's really all I can think of that's applicable here.
