Lucian build

I'm not sure IE is the way to go with Lucian as first item.

I understand IE is the current meta. But Triforce Lucian has always been THE thing and no change has happen to Trinity AND a nerf to IE happened.

I dont udnerstand why we don't see Tri on Lucian anymore If i was stubborn and still build triforce on Lucian first, what would be the best second item? Ghostblade IE Shiv?

I'd say IE would be a good second item, just because then you can build Phantom Dancer/shiv for OP crits. You'd just be getting those crits way later than if you built IE first. But if it was me i wouldn't build triforce to begin with. IE is such a big damage spike and paves the way for a crit-centered build, which i prefer.

IMO its because you generally start item 3031 with item 1038 , which gives arguably the best use for the gold range.

Considering Lucian is a bursty type ADC, if you are building Triforce first, you have three items options to start

item 3086 - Not that much of a damage boost. Sure the AS boost is alright, but it is not going to do much as far as a damage bump. Its only bebefit is its cheap. item 3057 - Actually not bad for your first item, still cheaper then item 1038 and the proc is nice, but doesnt do a whole lot for your AA's. item 3044 - I think the most expensive of the three. It isnt that great. A measly 20extra damage, a little health whichiis alright but not super key as he can be decently safe with dash.

Building IE first gives two items both more useful, in my opinion, for a burst-ish adc like Lucian, item 1038 and item 1037 , item 1018 is by itself kinda bland. But when item 3031 is finished it is a rather strong power spike.
