C'mon Rito. Urgot languishes at the bottom of the charts, Zed is constantly played and always strong, and you buff him over and over (or Ahri- same thing). Make Urgot's ult not cancellable by roots/snares and he might just be viable again.

To be fair, Zed's win rate did take a hit when Riot finally gave him a solid nerf. Then again, he is still the top ban because it is loathsome to play against his kit.
Urgot is weak. Meanwhile Zed exists

The issue with Urgot isn't Riot lacking the capacity to buff him into a useful spot. They're more than capable of doing that.
The issue with Urgot is that Riot's balance team values couterplay, good kit design, and generally promoting champions that fit their core ideals more than they value perfectly balancing the roster.
Urgot has serious issues with all of those things, which is why he's been stuck in the spot he's in on purpose.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of this particular balance philosophy as I'd like to play what I want to play and in a game with 100+ champions I'd like to see some of that diversity rather than being stuck with Zed mid, Lucian ADC, Thresh support on someone's team in every single game.
zed has a below average win rate right now less than 50% other assassins such as talon has a better win rate but talons ban rate is .7% while zeds is 81%. Zed is in a really bad spot right now like even bjergsen wont play him and he loves zed that says a lot. Zed is only good if you can land both Qs and you are really good with him. There are so many better mids out there right now than zed to pick talon does more burst than zed and its a AOE burst to a team
