@Meddler Any plans for Zed?

Hi! I'm just curious if there are any plan for Zed in the future (i will ask you mercy for my bad english here before you read my entire post :) ). Zed is a champion with a strong identity and a lot of strenght and weaknesses, but i think that the only viable choice to play him is to split push only, a scenario that can't happen all the time. With Quicksilver and Zhonya he's assassination task is diffficult but fair, but if we add some recent addition to the mixture like Tahm and Kindred's ult this become almost impossible. An assassin have to choose the right moment to assassinate that's true, but with that array of defensive options is almost impossible to score a single ultimate in some game with Zed, aside from laning phase. Unlike Talon i think that Zed burst (unless snowballed) have to rely almost on he's Ultimate, and with the Botrk as a core item to stay on the target i think that he cannot use all off he's scale on the Q in a efficent way. I'm not here to complain about balance, i'm just curious what you guys think about him and if you plan to add to him more utilty instead of numbers tweaks, or simply leave him as it is. For example adding a slow on E without shadow, and a stronger slow if both shadow and Zed hit the target with E, will lead to a different build path without Botrk and a more bursty first item to help him assassinate without ulti (just my 2 cents here sorry if this sounds stupid). Maybe the preseason Itemization will help our beloved assassins ina healthy way? Thanks for your attention :)

I think it's fair that Zed's assassinations are less reliable as the game scales on.

Unlike for example Talon, Zed has the safest Assassination of the AD Assassins. That should come with an evident trade.

I wish they'd change his ult. It's honestly not fun for anyone involved, nor is it really well designed.

Watch my friends stream and you will see current zed is very viable still. You have to adjust build path and summoner spell exhaust instead of ignite to be relevant late game. He is master tier and builds zed normally until 3rd and 4th item and goes into a crit based build. And with zeds bonus ad passive on w, his crits are deadly come late game. Not just plugging him, crit zed is viable and strong late game. He says exhaust makes them choose to QSS your ult or the ensuing exhaust.
