So here you have it. Riot finally decided to buff Nunu but they way they are buffing him is just wrong.

Don't get me wrong here. I think these buffs are strong and will definitely bring him back into the game. But these buffs are too strong and is buffing the wrong area. Nunu is a tank. Now what happens when you give a tank too much damage. Do you still remember Maokai when he got reworked?

The strength of this buff is too massive. Nunu takes press the attack, takes Blue, Gromp, Wolves and Red and goes straight into enemy jungle. The red buff and the bonus damage from his Q and W will be too destructive for such an early level. Not even mentioning that Nunu is still a tank.

The recent buffs that Nunu has had seem to all follow the same scale Nunu is shit Nunu gets buffed Nunu is ban or pick Nunu get gutted Nunu is shit

As a Nunu player I hope this buff never goes through the PBE. Nunu is shit right now but these buffs are too much.

Edit: The buffs actually went through the PBE. The end is near.

The Consume changes specifically. I think the Blood Boil changes (with maybe a little reduced numbers) could be great.

My idea for the blood boil was to give a small amount of MR and Armor but if they now add that with the Consume changes, we have something that shouldn't even count as a fair champion.

at least, nunu needs to autoattack to deal damage with those buffs which is riskier and harder to pull off as an immobile melee instead of a point and click mobility + %max hp damage and an AOE knock back+nuke (maokai btw)

Why can't they give Consume a 3 hit passive that lets you use it on champions with reduced damage? I think that would be good enough, his Snowball slows a champion enough to get it off, It would be very similar to Volibear's bite. These changes are too much. Nunu isn't trash, he just isn't that great of a champion. Right now, if played correctly he can completely devastate the enemy jungler and laners if they have no flash or wasted CC. Nunu is a champ that teaches you how to take objectives and farm.
