Do NOT judge Yuumi just yet

I know that right now Yuumi seems a bit weak when you look at winrates. But what did you expect from a champion that was JUST RELEASED?

Give people time to find the right builds, runes and playstyles for her before judging her as underpowered or weak. She is not the kind of champion you can master in one day. Her kit has a lot of small things to take into concideration when playing her, like how she should proc her passive safely.

To be honest, it scares me that people demand buffs or changes on day one. Do you want an overloaded champion, because that's how you get one.

Ps. I've had a blast playing her. She is hard and I haven't won a single game yet (Played 3-4 games with her by far) but man is she fun to play. I've been testing runes a lot and I can't wait to experiment more.

Ok, 27% winrate, on a release champion? Thats the LOWEST IN HISTORY, I though Bard would be the lowest but nooooo. Yuumi is ABYSMAL, you must have designed the champion soo wrong that she has such a low winrate on release. I did some research and it was 2 designer, One who worked on Rakan, Xayah, Pyke, which were super well designed champions. And one who came from Blizzard. I was thinking.... WHY DID YOU NOT MAKE HER LIKE ABATHUR!?! If you made her like ABATHUR not only she would be unique but it would be ultra different from your standard support.

He must have been inspired by Abathur but failed to make it unique, instead we have this horrible champion that attach and doesn't get an AFK warning.

I wont say that she's 100% garbage but man, the ones that I've seen were just like having an afk that you cant report

I think that she is weak and also ppl dont know how to play her so she looks x2 weak, she's just released, we need to wait

I liked playing Yuumi too.

I feel like her heals are quite decent in the late game.

She's far better the the knee jerk factions make her out to be. Athene's grail has bonkes syenergy w her kit and I assume most players undervalue Absolute focus as a viable rune. Comes online faster then trancendance. Personally I lean to item cdr runes. I see a lot of runes as viable on her overall. I expect every ludens rush yuumi to be a dumpster fire Winrate. Probally standard ardent redemption builds are subpar as well given that other healers outclass her. Also I'm actively playing with out flash as the double. Aggro ss tends to make more impact. Might do a spell book trial tonight and see if tale roam makes positive impact with out costing ad excessively.

She's going break the balance of other champions. To the point where every champion that is good with her is going to get nerfed or she has to be nerfed into unplayability. This is the old similar to the old soraka conundrum, "how do you balance healing" its hard to tune a click to heal ability to feel reasonable on either side of the interaction. Now you have to ask how do you balance healing abilities on a champion thats invulnerable. This is not going to go well from a balance perspective. I would wager this would be the first champion discontinued from use in game play.

A 27% winrate is not _just _ player error. We know what to build, and her kit isn't complicated. Why are people making her out to be the lee sin of support? She's pretty straightforward once you realize how limited you are when attached. Oh I can Q and heal when attached? Well when I don't need to do anything then i detach and use my passive! lol People are way overthinking the complexity here.

She's outclassed by every single other enchanter and offers nothing the others don't except for the very unique power of gimping your adc and pissing them off.

Fact is even when played properly shes just to weak right now. Literally all you have to do is pick literally anything with a pull support. Blitz thresh naut pyke and so on. And then you get a 2 for 1 pull what a deal. Even when played properly going between teammates and what not as shes ment to shes just weaker than anything else you could pick. I pourposely leave her open while i play things like sona and morgana because its free elo. Me and a friend played blitz jinx bot into a yumi kaisa and it felt like a 2v1. We had 2 towers and 8 kills 10 minutes in.

thank fucking you. someone needs to get these cry babies in line and tell them not to judge a champ who just came out of the oven. people need time to play her and see what does and does not work. but the problem is people don't have the patience to test her and expect her to have a good win rate right out of the gate.

The problem with having Yuumi come out this weak is that she is a support. If she is weak people are not really gonna go out of their way to learn her especially with the low queue rate of people picking support as their main role. If you get auto filled you are just gonna pick whats strong or comfort picks and not try anything new, and thats the majority of supports.

No one is gonna bother "learning" her when they can just pick their mage supports.

Honestly, I think OP is right. I made this account only to play yuumi on, and that's all I've been doing the past 2 days. It is too early to judge, she seems quite powerful as a support, if your ADC knows what you can do. Most of my losses were from inting ADCs who thought I make them immortal and would go so deep that there would be no amount of zoomies enough to get them out.

However, I do think her Q shoud be AOE splash due to how cancer it is unmounted.

Illabethe5/15/2019, 10:21:36 PM1 votes

The very fact she's this low on ANY predictable builds and antithesis to solo/duo queue means she needs buffs.

You need to realize, for every Yuumi game, there is a losing team. And there will always be new players pulling her off the shelf. If every player pulling her off the shelf ..... ever..... pulls 30% win rates, they are going to extremely volatily affect their teams for a long time. It's taking a chunk of winnable games and making them losses.

So champ's existence should have this much influence on a Loss, versus their potential influence on a win.

If they give her buffs, I don't want to see her AP ratios/damaged buffed whatsoever.
