I think Riot should weekly make a small survey on the client based off of popular gameplay topics. Things such as balancing issues (mainly) concerning champions, items, masteries, etc. And based off of that survey consider making adjustments. It would really make them more interactive with the community, and actually help get some things done. I feel like Riot for so many patches has been making some bull shit changes, nerfing certain champions by reducing base damage on a spell by 20, or just hitting their base AD by 2. They aren't making any effective balancing changes. So hopefully with this implemented they could balance the game more.

They have done this . . . insanely rarely and not nearly as in-depth though. Out of the several years of playing, I've seen 2 such surveys pop up; and they were merely 'did this champion feel good to play? yes/no'. This kind of survey should be popping up after every pvp game, but at least with a sliding scale (1-5) and a text box to explain why. I'd go as far to say that their balancing favoritism & double standards are ruining the game.

I'm happy with the game's balance. I don't mind them not putting out a lot of surveys.

Yeah I dont see how that would really provide positive feedback. The vast majority of players arent even trying to become good at this game so what feedback can they really provide that is useful? That would be like asking boards who they think are the strongest champions in the game. They wouldnt even be remotely close and we would just be nerfing things for no reason. Good god I shudder to think how this game would be if this boards was taken seriously on anything. We would be in pure chaos with certain classes being insane and others being useless in all forms.

Perhaps give some incentive to answer these surveys with a little bit of extra IP? Kind of like how the old Tribunal worked where it'd give you something like 500 IP just for participating.

I get surveys sent to my email almost monthly. It covers these topics, too.

Ever played Blade and Soul? Surveys just as you described exist there; you get one every 2 levels.

Riot already has a survey people can take. Very bottom of the website if you click "Help Us Improve" after logging in you can fill out a survey. They could make 10000x surveys it doesn't matter. Riot doesn't read them. They don't advertise them. You get a copy and paste auto email reply 2 days after you submit it.

There's a question of how many people will actually take it as well. They may to give something like 200 IP per completed survey or something like that.
