Why is Conqueror getting nerfed?

Just because a few broken champions Riven RekSai Hecarim can abuse it?

Almost every single person in high elo (including rank 1 Tarzaned) says it's the most useless rune.

conq. definitely didnt need healing. not sure what riots hard on for healing is. remove that and its fine.

Tbh, I'd prefer it kept the healing and true damage conversion and dropped the stats.

you want healing? fleet footwork. you want damage? press the attack. you want both? conqueror. (OkAY rloT.)

PTA increases damage dealt to a single target, Conq lets the user deal a portion of his/her damage as true damage. Those are two Very different ways of increasing damage.

PTA damage can be reduced by resistances, and damage reduction. While true damage (from conq as the example) can’t be reduced from resistances or damage reduction.

Grasp would be a better analogy: You want damage? The magic damage from the proc has that. You want healing? The proc also has that. And it increases the user’s health too

With no healing it would be the worst rune in the game by far. The healing makes it really good.

This rune could litteraly say “you deal 10% of your damage as true damage” and it would still be the best rune in the game. ;/

Ummm what? I don't think you understand how damage works. If you had a riven mirror math and one had conquered doing only true damage and giving nothing else and the other had electrocute the one with electrocute would win and its like this for basically every match up your not fighting a tank.

Like conqueror is taken more now after the rework and the pervious version give DOUBLE THE TRUE DAMAGE.

Like I'll do the math for you. If a champion has 50% damage reduction with is a reasonable amount late game for any champion. You deal 1000 damage you only deal 500, now if you have conqueror it goes up to 600 meaning it give you 100 more damage. Like that's is not a lot and you have to keep in mind that basically every conqueror user deals damage over time meaning the true damage means even less on a non tank which is the majority of champions.

Like 10% true damage sucks in comparison with almost every rune since they give more damage again the only time it matters is vs a tank and it will still do basically nothing early game even vs a tank.

Except electrocutes damage also gets reduced down to likely below 100 damage. So the extra 100 damage you get from conquerer easily beats out the extra damage from electrocute.

So no that is false. So conqueror beats out electrocute by a 10 damage of I replaced conqueror with it but that is ONLY TRUE IF YOU HAVE 0 AD it has a 40% ad ratio meaning it does more.

Riven at full build will deal 147 damage with it in my example.

Also almost every champion builds pen meaning it will actually do more.

Like are you trying to ignore facts or you just didn't know electrocute has scaling?

Full build. Games never make it to full build. -.-

And if we are assuming full build, then riven will have much more than 50% damage reduction. So your example is Now assuming they both are basically build full assassin riven.

And again. Pen wouldn’t change anything. Because then both parties are dealing more damage.

Like your not arguing you have given 0 counter points. Also FULL BUILD MEANS TRUE DAMAGE IS MOST USEFUL. Like the popular build for riven only has her with ninja tabi so yeah she will be around 50%. I also I NEVER said who the champion was.

Also are you trolling since true damage is not effected by pen meaning if you negate 35% of there armor your still dealing 100 damage with conqueror but electrocute will go up in damage by how much the reduction of armor was.

You said in your first post 100 damage. Then you start spewing on about how electrocute does more because full build. Moving the goal posts doesn’t make your argument stronger. It ensures you confirm you don’t know what you are talking about.

And you SPECIFICALLY SAID riven dude.

boricCentaur11 votes

Electrocute does more damage in general they were both at full build that's why the armor reduction is 50% since that's around where most champions have late game. I also did it late game since that's where true damage is the strongest.

Here is the quote about the damage reduction. "If a champion has 50% damage reduction with is a reasonable amount late game for any champion. Hmmm nothing about riven in there.

Lying doesn't win arguments and you have also not said why I'm wrong. Like your wrong deal with it lying and ignoring arguments gets you nowhere.

and Jax Who else use it?

Most juggernauts do.

Cuz it's too strong

I mean, i'll eat the nerf if it makes Riot realize that champs like Riven and Jax are batshit overpowered because of their kits and how extremely well their kits work with items. CDR over-saturation has removed the last remaining weaknesses for Riven and Jax.
