Runes Limit ?

I'm trying to buy the rest of the runes in the shop but every time I try I get this msg " An a error has occurred you have attempted to purchase or already own more than the maximum amount for this item " Is their a limit to how many runes you can buy ?

You can buy a maximum of 9 runes( 3 for Quints) of each type( as in AD, AP, Armor, MR etc., not as in reds, blues or yellows). If the shop doesn't let you buy a rune you don't have 9( or 3) of, then it's Rito's fault.
