She'll be WAY too oppressive with it, as any good Lux player will always land it correctly (even now, it's almost impossible to dodge, unless you got mobility)
Give her something if you want, like a small mana regen buff or something, but please, don't go through with that Lux E change.
The E change is to make her not so ping dependent.
If it really becomes a problem we'll probably see a small damage drop off at the edges.

As a big big Lux player, this wont change much.
You can hit it with 95% accuracy already, now you get 99%, not a big deal. It makes her less clunky, it's more a QoL then a real buff.
And for the shield, I dont understand, Lux already gains a shield direcly after the short delay. Does that mean that the delay is removed, or that the shield is applied directly at the cast and then comes th delay ? The first one is too powerful, so I guess it's the second one, that will be very useful against assassins
The hell man? This buff is really needed for those of us who have pings in the 70-90's. And it already has a huge mana cost. I honestly cannot believe someone is complaining about Lux buffs. Just goes to show people will complain about absolutely any change.
She's not getting her mana cost on her E lowered because of it.
So IF it does become too strong, they could take away the pre-cast and lower the mana cost of her E.
I say we see how it works for like a patch or two and see if it really is going to be that oppressive, and if it is, just do the above.
Having seen a rioter comment on ping it makes me wonder if at their offices does talking about giving the East coast their own servers so we wouldn't need changes like this gets you fired instantly. I'm pretty sure it's a yes but I'm still curious.
Why are people even trying to get Lux buffs anyways? She's pretty much one of the safest midlaners, has long range, can zone well, has a good amount of cc and zoning ability, and has pretty good damage. She also has clearly identifiable weaknesses such as lack of mobility, high cooldowns, and high mana costs. According to champion.gg shes sitting at a 50.01% winrate, which seems to indicate she's pretty balanced. It also states she's in the upper half rankings for mid lane, which further suggests she doesn't need any buffs. What's the deal?
