Play Sona and stack mana, CDR and AP to have good healing/shielding/damage/movement speed and give your team an extra engage option. Play Nami for high lane pressure and good CC/some damage/some healing. Zyra would be good for lane pressure and teamfight control.

As a support you have a lot of influence over how bot lane does in each game, pick a support you can use to maximize that impace even more as your main. Like Blitz (many people at lower elos just don't know how to play against him), Thresh or Lux.

• Don't take unnecessary risks, but if you can catch enemies who misposition, punish harshly.
• Be sure not to let the enemy zone your adc off his cs.
• If you can zone them off though, do it.
