A Teemo rework?

I posted a concept for Teemo's rework in 'Concepts & Creations' and was told it belonged here so I thought I would post some of my idea's to rework Teemo

I really think that Teemo needs a rework because as he stands right now he is just a split pusher in the top lane that has mushrooms spread around to ward off ganks, and his team fighting phase is just awkward. In teamfights your job while playing Teemo is to blind the ADC so he can't AA for a brief moment and auto attack till the teamfight is won, lost or until he is dead; also, you can just run away and kite them into your mushrooms and turn the fight around by the damage over time affect, but most people aren't that oblivious. C'mon it's Teemo, most people know that he is notorious for landmines. I mean he can be pretty powerful due to his split pushes, but up agianst a cordinated team/laner he is very weak, and he does counter some melee champions that are AA based.

Rework Ideas

Passive: After standing still for 1 second he goes into stealth, and when he comes out of steal he gets bonus AS and MS for a brief moment. Basically the same thing.

Q: Teemo has the last original blind that Riot implemented (Where once you are blinded your auto attacks miss for a brief moment) and i think they should just go along and move his blind to what they did to Quinn. Make it into a skill shot that actually blinds someone for a few secounds (actually lose some sight). Maybe give it a damage boost too compensate that is a skill shot andnot a point and click ability?

W: I think that His current W/E should be grouped into one ability. Where your posionous darts and swiftness are in one ability. Keeping the dart damage the same and moving the MS per level --> 4%/8%/12%/16%/20% (maybe even cut in half) and when you take damage you lose that passive till you are out of combat. Perhaps we can add a stacking ability where his posion can stack, and with every stack he gains bonus MS on top of his passive?

E: A New Ability called 'Scouts Code" I mentioned that his E should give him bonus AS per level. That or Bonus resists.

  1. Bonus AS per level 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%
  2. Bonus Resists per level mr/armor 5/10/15/20/25 3 Or Both of them. AS maxing at 25% bonus AS and Reists maxing at bonus 20 mr/armor. Making him less squishy and he can survive teamfights longer
  3. when i posted this into the wrong forum, BakaFlockaFlame suggested that his E could give sight to a champion nearby, which can utilize his name as a 'scout'. Like when you are in midlane you can see somone at your red buff or their red buff. (maybe sort of like a hawk shot??)

R: His mushrooms have gone from unlimited time limt, to 10 minute time limit, to 5 minute time limit and the damage has been nerfed plenty of times. What if we keep the damage at its current state, but make it so when you step on the shrooms it has a bigger radius. Plus we can probably up the time limit that the mushrooms linger from 5 minutes to 8 minutes?? Again, BackaFlackaFlame suggested he conjures a mega shroom like how Corki makes mega missles, so one of his mega mushrooms can do more damage and give sight for a moment? maybe stun??

I wouldn't say he needs a rework, just some tweaks and buffs. I'd like Riot to:

  • Make the shrooms last for 10 minutes again.
  • Buff the shrooms' coefficient back to 80% AP
  • Make Teemo more of a skirmisher, kind of like Gangplank . Make the DOT damage of Toxic Shot more meaningful. Instead of just building AS for on-hit, the actual poison should deal some real damage.

He's a scout- he should play like one! Hit-and-run tactics seem appropriate here.
