Real Talk: Glass Cannon ADC

Glass Cannon on ADC does not work in the current meta (unless u are playing vayne or twitch) because of one simple factor: your team is unlikely to pick cc champions. This is because this is league of legends and everyone wants to carry their team, it's human nature to want to be the best and as it turns out, this natural instinct hurts your team more often than not.

Glass Cannon does work when u have 5 competent team mates, but those, as you know very well by now, come once in a blue yordle.

Building 1 or 2 health items on adc helps immensely, you would be surprised how good black cleaver is on many adc's that you didn't think it would be useful on (even after the changes). I have had a higher win rate after switching from my crit + Lord Dominik's build

Let me know if you think Glass Cannon is viable on champs other than twitch and vayne.

I feel like this is more particularly true at low elo, simply because everyone thinks that they have to carry their team to win. In high elo, I think more people understand that cc is essential to winning games.

ADC has progressively been a more and more useless class and I'm surprised pro teams haven't started just ignoring it all together. The season 5 issue where they wanted to make games faster meant scaling champs just didn't succeed as snowballs happened too fast that you could never scale. Who can imagine we'd see a day where a champion like Jinx has a sub 50% winrate if the game is over 35 minutes. That makes no sense.

There's no such thing as roles when you play adc. Everything one shots you. Mages one shot you, assassins one shot you, tanks one shot you, hell even supports one shot you. The risk it takes to play a role that is item reliant, levels slower than the rest of the map, and is the most easily killed champ on the map just isn't worth it.

I decided to play adc through my promos this time cause I was playing norms with adc and it was alright so why not. I went 2-8. It's a nightmare. I will never play anything except mid in ranked ever again, unless I stop being lazy and decide to get decent at jungle.

Yeah all of them can go "glass cannot" the only one that doesn't really off the top of my head is ezreal (unless ur talking about graves/urgot as adcs)
