make arurf and urf at the same time. when arurf has 5 min load times and urf is < 20 sec you will jave your answer.

they won't though because they secretly hate urf. it's the only mode better then there normal game mode. that's why they never release it and it's why they are purposely ruining it now.

They don't secretly hate URF, they even said that they wanted to make URF better by making it All Random. The problem with URF as it was before was that everyone picked very, very specific champions who could perform at their absolute best with huge cooldown reductions and no mana costs. Like Cassiopiea, who could quite literally spew walls of poison everywhere, making distance engage impossible for divers like Diana or Aatrox, even making disengage difficult for champions like Graves and Lucian, and on top of that, anyone with a poison DoT on them wound up laden with Twin Fangs holes all over them. And with a 20-sec cooldown on her ult, she could practically respond to everything with "no, sit still and let me make you Swiss cheese."

They saw that people only wanted to play specific champions in URF, and that ruined the diversity of champions in the gamemode - people only wanted to win or troll super hard, and Riot's answer to that was to force diversity by making it All Random. Now, players can't choose their champion, they get it given to them. Is that champion powerful in URF? Who knows? But the point is, to Riot, that said champion is finally showing up. And they went into this knowing all too well the community would wet themselves in anger over having their "MLG Zed URF plays" stolen from them, but they went ahead with it anyway - because they knew the design was well-worth the fallout. And in my opinion, it is.

And people don't seem to realize that this is for the better, too. Nobody really sees the potential in some champions that nobody plays in URF, but now may well be forced to play - and realize - in ARURF. Take for instance (and I know full well this wouldn't apply to normal URF, but it's relevant now) Shen. Constant bonus damage, potentially constant sticking to targets and getting faster attackspeed, and practical immunity to auto-attacks, as well as a short-cooldown map jump and the ability to dash and taunt for ages.

Or even Morgana, who can lay down hazard zones, spamcast ranged lockdown spells, and even keep up a hefty anti-magic shield. And if she's tanky enough, dive in and lock down enemies even harder with her ult.

My point is, ARURF is a godsend, whether the community likes it or not. And I especially love it, being that I don't have to worry about "how many people in this match is gonna start laying into me for choosing an odd pick for fun?" I just get a champion given to me and - potentially literally - Lay Waste.

lol, URF-mode is pure insanity. 24/7 spinning garen, windmill hecarim, machine gun urgot, perma-pool vlad, etc are clearly brilliant game design.
