Kog'Maw

Here's my thoughts on this, i hate to see a champions identity get completely destroyed but something had to be done with the champion because 100-0 an entire team in less than 5 seconds is broken as hell. And you know i don't think it has anything to do with his kit, i think his kit is in a really good spot especially given the tradeoff you give for being the squishiest champion in the game. The problem is items Riot, stop changing champions and get the AD items in a good spot, because right now, they are far more effective than tank and AP items, and AA champions will take full advantage of that fact (especially the on hit items). Honestly the only reason i even picked up Kog is because he is really fun to play right now, his kit feels amazing and smooth to play, old Kog, just felt stupid, you would AA only with little to no caring about any of your abilities. Like i get that you guys think its unhealthy for the game, but most of the AD champions are absolutely stupid strong right now, and the ones that arent are the ones you guys nerf out of viability. Think about it, if all of them are strong, its probably something to do with what they are buying, not the champions itself. Work on items first, then work on champion kits.

I think you have that backwards.

With the previous Kog'maw, you would constantly be weaving abilities between your autoattacks and kiting to maximize DPS (and take advantage of Spellblade procs). In addition, his build paths were rather flexible and he could function as both an ADC and a siege caster.

With the current Kog'maw, you find a place to hunker down, press W and autoattack the enemy to death. The only items you can really build at the moment are those with on-hit effects; otherwise, you are just building inefficiently.

Riot's reasoning behind it is that they don't like the state that Kog is in right now. He isn't what they wanted him to be. Plus with a lulu he's overpowered. They think that this will allow him to be played in the LCS again because at the moment he can't move during teamfights. They want him to be able to move around while still doing a high amount of damage. It's a BS explanation but it's the one that they are giving.

kogmaw ---> applies on hits ---> build rage blade ---> on hits are doubled --> profit ---> remove rage blade from the game champ is fixed.
