ADCs used to have more impact when the late game was actually a decent length. With everything suddenly ending 5-10 minutes earlier than it used to 2 years ago, they don't have as much of a chance to shine. You might as well play a juggernaut or mage of some kind.

Adcs don’t have impact anyone more adcs need more gold just to come online than most other champions.

Renekton? Online in just sos Talon? Just need duskblade Insert mage here? Ludens and they’re good Tank? Nice meme. Tanks are never online

Sivir? Yeah you need, and then you’re good to go.

ADCs have as much agency as their support gives them. That's the trouble with having a game where the meta is "not" enforced by the developer.

Because first 10-15 minutes are decided by Mid, Top and Jungle.

All it takes is 1 of them to shit the bed and start soft inting and it's near impossible for bot lane to have an impact.

Aside from like Ashe and Varus, they're squishy damage dealers with little to no utility.

As a general rule, the less utility a champ has, the less agency they have over the outcome of a game. If they get behind, they stay behind unless the opponent throws. This is even more so the case if the champ is squishy.

Just play Jhin, Lucian or Miss Fortune if you wanna be strong early. With the exception of Lucian, all ADC's scale really hard late game so you just have to play around it. Its like playing and complaining that he has a terrible csing kit early game
