If I try other roles from my current ranked then...

So...when season started i loved the new ranked system but then got revert. So I just wonder how the heck do improve if im a support gold player if i try other roles and get shit on, and no normal doesn't help at all because that just makes it uneven when it comes to tryhards or playing off-roles. I know that High Elo dislike the new ranked system, I don't know why but i prefer to grind more to get there that just makes it harder but i like it. They just want the easy way to get there with any role they play i get it but didn't riot said that your ranked merges into one once you hit masters? I don't know what im talking about high elo but im pretty sure for silver and gold its better for me to use the ranked system i had no problem that just makes me want to play more and have all my ranked equally but working one role at at a time.

When season started I was bronze in mid, silver in all my other roles and gold in support that's like what i expected everytime i play my games. The only way i do it now is just create new accounts only for mid, adc, top and jg/support which is my main account so i have a separate ranked.

I was correct when i played my games i am somewhat high bronze low silver as mid, adc/top = mid silver league, jg and support equally the same. It could of been the other way around if the new ranked system wasn't introduce i could of played my worst role which was mid and play that more often and stay in that elo and not bother playing my main role which could of got me to high silver/low gold but it didn't happen, so im just stuck in this situation. If i play the worst role in my current ranked: gold 3, I just gonna get shit on and get demoted a lot so i will lose my ranked as a support which makes no sense for me to do that. So what do you think I should do? Risk my current ranked and play the worst role and likely get banned if it goes very bad or should i just play my alts and have separate ranked from each of the roles?

firstly no matter how hard you feed you wont be banned so long as you're still intent on winning the game.

secondly, in principle separate ranks was good, it was just the psychological factor that made it fail; if youre filled into a role that you flat out dont care about, you'll just treat it as a normal game.

so its best to just create a bunch of alts.

It seems like you think people used to have separate ranks for different roles? I've been playing this game for years, and have never heard of that being a thing.

I was "on break" for these last few years though, so unless there was some very temporary thing they tried while I was gone, separating roles like that wasn't ever a thing.
