Is Garen's regen supposed to work like this

Full tank Garen,came back from 5% hp to 100% hp in 10 seconds.

We had hard time killing him 5 vs 1.He had insane healing,survivability and did tons of damage to us all.

Sometimes he easily 1 vs 3

It was hard match.They had no support,instead they had Kalista with Ashe bot lane,but we ended up winning.

He ended up doing most damage with heals like this.He was next to unkillable.Sometimes 2 of us Yasuo and Panth couldn't kill him.

I would understand if he was tank with decent damage,but tank with damage as his,that i don'g get.

My question is : Is this broken or its supposed to be like this?

His passive isn't what's healing him dingus. That is what he was telling you. His passive + Warmog's passive was healing him, and yes... that is EXACTLY how it's supposed to work.

Garen is basically a giant pile of stats without CC, mobility or a lot of the things you need to be viable in most games. He's good vs disorganized teams and in matches where he's ahead and no one can kite him well. He's supposed to be like that. He does just enough damage to be a threat and is too tanky to be an optimal target of focus. He is the near-exact definition of a juggernaut.

And once again... his absurd regen is from his passive and an ITEM. An item that basically does nothing but give him a bunch of health and ungodly regen out of combat. That is working exactly as intended.

and as other people pointed out, he combined his own passive with warmogs passive.

main problem is that u have a really bad composition , ur team is kinda lack of cc to fight garen and u doesnt have mobility either so thats why . plus will be nice if u show build so we can see how are u and ur mates building.

no one on ur full ad team build item 3033 . the reason of why he was so unkinable is because: 1.-U were full ad , so that means he doesnt need buy mr , so he can stack armor 2.- no one of u buy , so u doesnt have any kind of penetration. 3.- U are almost ccless.
