Maybe not permanently, mind... but at least while you maintain active vision of its location, and maybe with a duration therein. You see it placed, so you know it's there... but you can't attack it because reasons. It's always just been a thought I've had since season 2.
This could also work for wards you sweep but don't get to remove. This would allow your team to know the ward is there without you having to spam ping your ally as they sit ontop of it.
If you know it's there you can maneuver outside of its vision range, clear it with red thingies given you know where exactly it is, or even use it to your advantage such as showing up and force the enemies to retreat for fears of gank. You can also inform your team about where the ward is so they can do the same.
It shouldn't just be visible because someone else saw you putting it down, it will defeat the entire point of vision wars, and the intricacies of difficult situations such as objective contests.
At least increase the duration thats it attackable if u see it placed.
Well, that's not a problem for me since I'm low ELO. Nobody places wards in low ELO.
