New Champ Select: Intended Pick Bans

I've been disheartened by people on my team who purposefully ban someone's intended pick. Often it's because think the pick is bad, or a group changes their mind and decides to take the designated role, or just trolling/not paying attention.

It's a solidarity-killer to have people on my own team actively working against anyone with the contentious pick, plus the mocking that comes afterwards with no possible repercussions. Perhaps this could be report-able under a designation of "Griefing."

Personally, I don't mind changing my pick, but I don't want to spend 20-60minutes with a guy/group who banned an intedned pick and remarked "*** you, you can't prove it hahaha." I feel compelled to dodge as a result of other players who will never face consequences for screwing their teammate. I can't speak for others who don't want to change their picks for trolls, but the frustration translates easily.

Even adding a chat log to champ select could help with this, otherwise trolls set others up for failure before the game has even begun. I'm hopeful about this, because I know Rito can solve these issues as they arise. :)

Thoughts?

I was just in champ select a few minutes ago, 3 premade, me and another random. the last random on my team bans jihn(pick intent of someone else)and hell breaks loose in chat, the premade was going to troll the random who banned jihn him and feed.

I thought to myself "should i play it out? or dodge?" i dodged. I'll take the 5 minute penalty over a troll game. This was a normal match btw.

This is why team builder was great, get the role you want and the champ you want, guaranteed. want to play 50 game in a row as Shen? sure. 100 games of velcoz? why not. It was fun and great for practicing a champs kit, and build. and you could even search for another group if you didn't like the one you were placed in.

I had less trolls, people bitching, lane swapping etc in teambuilder.

yep, i've been noticing this happening a lot too, especially today because of jhin's release. it's very frustrating and gets games off to a very bad start, which just fuels fights and causes all kinds of issues.
