Leaver-Buster Client Issue

Recently there have been three games where the league client freezes in champ select or in the loadscreen, and I have to restart league to find that my match has already begun. After the match, win or lose, I get a message saying I am to be punished for leaving with low-priority queue.

Is there not away for the server to see me trying desperately to reconnect, or at least know that the "leave" was not of my own doing? The issue is not my PC or my internet, as I've tested other programs and none of them have similar issues. I've reinstalled League in an attempt to fix the issue, to no avail.

It's just really disheartening to be punished for this, because it's clearly a blanket-punishment that gets distributed regardless of reason.

(Luckily, the three times it happened were during my ranked placement matches, which are probably not going to be important in any capacity. -__-)
