Yes so kassadin is now on my permaban list.
I was playing caitlyn, an ADC with a very long range. I could not even get in range to auto in a teamfight without kassadin comboing me 100-0 INSTANTLY
how am i suppose to play against this? it was very frustrating I honestly do not no what to do. and I mean I was instantly dieing in 1 combo from him.

Dyonas2 votesDying in 1 combo? Unlikely unless you were massively under level and he was fed as well as a lot higher. Your team needs to deal with him like they would any diving assassin and stun / snare etc. Save your E to get some distance between his Rift Walk cooldown and plant a trap at your feet where you land and auto him. If you're walking around the map on your own then that's your own fault really and a lot of champions could kill you. You need to give more information on where you're dying, how you're dying (more than 1 combo, don't exaggerate please) and how fed the Kassadin player is compared to you.
I'm not calling you a liar but I am saying I disagree with your statement that one combo killed you outright from full HP unless he was super fed and / or you were very under level.

Max level, max items yeah but he likely had a W active in there too. In that case I'm really not surprised. You could kill most champions in 3 or 4 auto attacks at that point. The best you can hope for is a mid lane that can shut him down effectively or at least some sort of peel like a support with Crucible to give you a chance. You're gonna be singled out regardless though as you're the highest source of sustained damage at that point in the game and any champion with max items at level 18 will kill you in a rotation if they're a damage builder.
I don't mean to sound hostile it just irks me when I read a title about Kassadin as most just scream for more nerfs :/ The 50 cal net and trap at feet catches a lot of people off guard. I play both btw. 50 cal, peacemaker combo and trap at your feet. They're chunked for a large amount of health, slowed and you have distance plus a snare at your feet if they can dash on top of you.
