Backstab Passive: Critical strike damage changed from [120% - 145%] to [130% (+40% AP) Decieve Q: Cooldown changed from 14 at all ranks to 16/15/14/13/12 // [removed] No longer does 20-80 (+40% AP) bonus physical damage on next attack. Why Riot why ? So Riot wenn full retard mode and thought they'll nerf Shaco a little more, reduce his backstab passive crit by 15%, give it 40% Ap scaling and remove all the ap dmg and even the base dmg on his Q, leaving it to be a utility ability only, no dmg ability. Nerfs V2 Decieve (Q) cooldown increased: [vs live] changed from 14 at all ranks to 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 [vs pbe] changed from 16/15/14/13/12 to 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) triggered

That's why he is high pro-play pick. Oh right, no he isn't. Nor has he ever.

He excels at pub-stomping and fighting against idiots. Even when he had a sub-45% winrate, people still hated on him.

He isn't broken, he punishes people for poor play, and people don't like not having an excuse for being bad.

When other champs wreck you, you can cry "Oh but their Scalings/CC/Tankiness/Base Damge is why they won, so OP"

Shaco is lackluster in all those fields.

Nope. Higher DPS, lower burst.

Shame no one picks Asassins for their higher rate of DPS.

These changes will benefit AP Shaco in early lane trades, that is about it. His backstab passive during lane will now do 130% of his AD + 0.4 AP, rather than just 120-140% of his AD. Since he won't have much AP in lane, he is receiving 10% more multiplier for AD on Backstab.

Its 80 112 less damage* that AD Shaco will do at level 9. AP Shaco Q will also do less, because instead of Backstab multiplying the whole equation 1.4(AD + 80 + 0.4 AP), it now only multiplies the AD. Giving you, (1.3 AD + 0.4 AP)

*minimum; that only factors in base damage lost, not the 10% bonus crit multiplier you lose on your regular AD

Yea try doing 2 backstabs in late game in a teamfight where the only time you do damage is being a glass cannon and everyone on the team knows to focus you. Literally impossible without dieing instantly. Not only that but that is 1 less on spell ability that will proc now that there is no Q damage which means its pointless to get Liandrys and Morellonomicon cause those will only work with E and shaco clone explosion. (no boxes do not proc anything period no mastery effects or item effects)

Can RIOT at least make boxes proc items like Liandrys and Morellonomicon and mastery like Thunderlord's at least on the first time the box hits the champion? Now that we lost Q damage there is no point for an AP shaco to buy spell applied items, because only E and Shaco's clone explosion will proc it. With this new nerf it kills AP shaco's late game badly (especially if most of the enemy team is bruiser/tanky). Guess I have to go back to the more toxic briuser build which is unscaved by this change.
