The way we can view the world as Summoners.

So this thought randomly popped into my head, the way we view Runeterra (which is the name of the world we play) is kinda a bit boring. There's nothing surprising about what you see, it's all the same old same old. But what if we add a little bit of creativity and magic into the world. I got 2 ideas, do with what you will.

1: Weather - Weather is a tricky thing in the real world. Now I'm not saying let's add tornadoes picking up Master Yi or floods drowning Annie. I'm thinking of something a little more subtle.

Rain: Rain is a fun aspect of life for some and a depressing mess for others. If they had rain randomly it would make game more diverse. It could even make little droplets on the screen. This of course you could maybe turn off so if people hate the rain they don't have to deal with it.

Snow: Snow would be a really fun aspect to the game. I've never met anyone who hasn't liked the snow IF they didn't have to deal with it every day (meaning people who have to plow the lawn and stuff). It doesn't have to be like it is in the real world, to where every little snowflake is different. You can make them just white dots. But there could be snow and people would love it.

Wind: Wind is something that could make the game unique. It could have things blowing everywhere and you could maybe get a piece of grass or two on your screen. Wind is something I don't care about as much as rain and snow.

Additional weather: Hail, Thunder, Lightning, and maybe night and day?

2: Character vision - now this is a bit tricky to explain. We see normal colors and the normal know how in the game. But (and this doesn't affect Lee Sin because he's blind (unless you make it all grey or something)) it would be really cool if you can turn on this setting and which ever character you pick (assuming that they don't have regular vision) will change your screen from the normal view, to what they'd see. For example:

Blitzcrank - He's a robot, and therefore probably sees stuff like a robot, so make the screen look like a robot.

Master Yi - Has 7 eyes, so show seven eye sockets on the screen in the shape of the pattern on his face.

Kha'ZIx - He's from the void and looks like a giant grasshopper. Maybe give him Dino-vision and have red heat signatures and a blue cold background.

Vel'koz - Just show one big hole in the middle, done.

Rek'Sai - Rek'Sai would really be interesting to see through. Since she's mostly underground, have like cool thermo-signatures or something. Kinda like Kha'Zix but maybe like a little radar mix too.

This is only for fun purposes only, and so you can see the world of Runeterra through the eyes of your favorite champion. (This isn't a 1st person view, this is still 3rd person)

Thanks for reading this post if you've managed to make it through it all because it's quite long. If you comment I shall upvote you.

This seems like it would add a lot of distraction to the game by showing unneeded information, which is against Riot's philosophy of "clarity". Also, in the Right Side of the Top Team's Jungle, there is rain.

Which you need a microscope to notice.

No. Sorry, but it would be a waste of ressources for something that 90% of the player base would disable. It's a "competitive" game, this would be like adding dupstep and MLG things when you do a frag in cs:go.

character vision as in first person/third person?

He means as a filter on the screen. Think sepia, black-white and such.

ah, thats boring. and i bet there is a tool which can put filters on your game allready.

Why add this when you can add in replays, better servers, skins for mastery points, or....aw, fuck it. We know it all goes to eSports.
