Kassadin is in a horrible spot right now
Kat has one of the absolute worst laning phases. She's melee, her health regen is abysmal, she has not a single bit of cc, her ult is up to a 3 SECOND CHANNEL and just about any form of hard cc shuts her down super hard.
Kassadin can literally press Q and her entire ultimate is completely useless.
Honestly, Kass is an horrible champ, and I'm glad he is under-powered.

but kassadin can do R and escape most of katarina damage. katarina cannot move while ulting and any kind of hard cc stops her from ulting.
The problem with Kassadin is that when he's good he's too good, kind of like Zed, o.... wait.
Anyways I think they need to retune his abilities that deserve to be tuned. For example his E shouldn't be doing the same damage as Q since it takes time to stack up. It should do more like 90/130/170/210/260 + 0.7 AP. His Q's magic shield could be more like 40/70/90/120/160 + 0.5 AP. Since any good burst mage will melt that shield with 1 ability late game.
