Jax Jump Vs. Veigar Wall

Yeah, so this has always bothered me a lot recently....and I don't remember this being an issue way back when, but does anyone else think that the Jax mechanic for Jump insinuate that it would be able to clear the non globe veigar cage? If it doesn't since "flash" technically goes "through" the cage, shouldn't the effect still apply on that as well.

It's a sloppy game mechanic, I don't remember this being an issue like 10 years ago, dunno why this is grinding my gears so bad now.

Patch 5.6

Event Horizon

  • Enemy dashes through Event Horizon's walls will stop at them instead.

AKA Veigar E stops dashes.

Thre is no Z axis in this game. When a champion "Jumps", they do not gain any height. There is only movement on the X and Y axis. This is why Tristana can jump "over" a wall, but not over Veigar's Cage

So even if this were the case.....you can apply a status, similar to how Morgana's shield allows you to walk through the event horizon, thus emulating a z-axis but making it align with what the action is, while still allowing for it. This could be used for things like xayah, trist, jax etc.....

Or we could do the simple thing and have the cage do exactly what it was buffed to do: stop dashes dead in their tracks.
