First tip: change your attitude.

Look at it that way: You're better than the other people in the game? You deserve to climb? Then OF COURSE they are bad, and they will make dumb mistakes, and they will make you lose some games. If they weren't bad compared to you, that would mean you don't deserve to climb.

Assume your jungler will never gank you, and that the enemy jungler will. And play accordingly. Assume your team is bad and will lose a fair 5v5, and play accordingly. Don't take 5v5, play more strategically, focus on objectives.

Second tip: get good.

Ward more, know your match-ups, adapt your build paths to the current situation, win your lane, learn to assess a situation and refuse to take a bad fight. And improve your general mechanics with the champs you play. Playing a small number of champs also helps.

Focus on improving one thing at a time.

Things to focus on to start with in no particular order.

CS - Very Important, you want that gold and it is often more important then kills. Practice CSing in lane and under turret. Never chase someone who is 0/5 and sacrifice a wave doing so, or worse, die from being baited...

Wave Control - Learn when to push a wave and bounce it off their tower and when to freeze a wave. For instance - You are top, you just killed your opponent, and you see the enemy jungler bot, push the wave to their tower and go B. You just got gold from the wave, denied your opponent that CS, and the wave will be pushing back towards your tower when you get back, so you won't be over extended.

Map awareness - Watch that mini-map all the time, ping when you see enemies moving toward other lanes

Warding - Ward, ward, ward, just put some down some place if you don't know where to put them, you will learn the right spots eventually.

Build against your opponent - Use TAB to check in on what your opponents are building and counter their builds. Lots of crit? Randuins! No Armor? No need to build a Last Whisper yet! Lots of Healing? Executioners Calling!

I don't believe in elo hell, people are put where they are supposed to be. That being said, its a matter of getting better at the game, rather than a climbing trick. Try watching High elo people play or watching those videos that show little things that high elo people do that can make a big difference. Look up guides for your favorite champions and use them. Most importantly, find your mistakes so you can fix them and improve from them. Who knows, you could be making the same mistake every game and although its small it could be costing you a loss.
